I hope this message finds you well. We are undertaking an exciting initiative in honor of Michael Yadgar, who will be retiring at the end of June. As many of you know, Michael has been  the EY Americas SAP Competency Leader for over 10 years, during which he has built a remarkable team and fostered a strong community. His dedication and leadership to his team leaves a lasting mark on everyone he meets.

In the altruistic essence Michael demonstrates every day, we are establishing a Charitable Contribution in his name at The BASE Chicago. We plan to present this to Michael before his departure from EY, during his last SAP All Hands call, celebrating his remarkable journey and the relationships he has built. Importantly, we ask that you keep this initiative a secret from Michael until the presentation, as we want it to be a surprise for him.

Over the past five years, Michael has developed a close relationship with The BASE Chicago, immersing himself in the community and fostering genuine connections with its members. Through his efforts, he has not only contributed to the growth of The BASE but has also exemplified the values he has instilled in all of us: compassion, commitment, and community engagement.

For those unfamiliar with The Base's mission, "The BASE Chicago re-imagines pathways to success for urban youth by combining sports and academic opportunities with a distinctive methodology rooted in excellence, belief and love. The organization provides a range of programming including academic/STEM tutoring, violence prevention and life skills, healthy lifestyle guidance and high-quality baseball and softball skills training. The BASE Chicago’s Clubhouse and Learning Center will become a beacon of hope on Chicago’s West Side."
