What is IMPAC?
The Illinois State Medical Society Political Action Committee (IMPAC), is a separate, voluntary, non-partisan, not-for-profit committee comprised of Illinois physicians and their spouses.
IMPAC gives 100% of contributions to help elect physician-friendly candidates into Illinois’ legislature and executive offices.

Contributions are not limited to the suggested amounts. The Illinois State Medical Society will not favor or disadvantage anyone based upon the amounts of contributions or failure of a member to make PAC contributions. IMPAC reports are filed with the State Board of Elections, 1020 S. Spring Street, Springfield, IL 62704. A copy of our report filed with the State Board of Elections is (or will be) available on the Board’s official website (www.elections.il.gov) or for purchase from the State Board of Elections, Springfield, Illinois. Voluntary membership contributions support candidates for public office in Illinois. IMPAC contributions can be made with a credit or debit card, or a corporate or personal check. Contributions to IMPAC are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
